About the Academy
Sea Route Maritime Services & Academy is a maritime training institute based in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, preparing candidates for a career in the Merchant Navy. We take a candidate from the first enquiry through course selection, training, documentation and placement assistance.
Applications are accepted from candidates across India. There is no domicile restriction, and the entire application process is completed online through this website — no application is accepted by post, by email, or through an agent.
DG Approved Courses
Deck Rating Course
Entry-level deck crew training covering seamanship, navigation watch duties, mooring and cargo work.
Engine Rating Course

How to Apply
- Read the course details and confirm you meet the eligibility for the course you want.
- Keep your mobile number, email address, Aadhaar number and educational details ready.
- Open the online application form and fill every mandatory field. The whole application is on a single page.
- Submit the form. Your receipt number is shown on screen immediately — save it.
- Pay the ₹ 100 application fee using the payment button shown after submission, or later from the Application Status / Pay Fee page.
- Print the acknowledgement slip and keep it for your records.
