Sea Route Maritime Services & Academy is a maritime training institute based in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. We prepare candidates from across India for a career in the Merchant Navy, taking them from the first enquiry through course selection, training, documentation and placement assistance.

A career at sea is one of the few routes that offers a young person from any part of the country an international career on merit. Much of the difficulty is not the training itself but the paperwork and the guidance around it — which course to take, which certificate is needed when, and how to obtain it. That is the gap this academy exists to close.

Our courses follow Directorate General of Shipping approved syllabi, and the safety modules follow the STCW convention that governs seafarer certification worldwide.
